How to Stop Potion Particles From Showing on Other Players and Mobs
What This Pack Actually Hides
Potion particles are the swirling colored motes that appear around any entity under a potion effect, not just you. Because the pack works by replacing the particle texture with a fully transparent one, it removes the effect visuals from every entity in the world at once — yourself, other players on a server, mobs, and even villagers you have traded with. There is no per-entity toggle, so if you want a clean screen, this is an all-or-nothing change.
Confirm It Is Working
1. Drink any potion, or stand near a beacon with an active effect, and watch your character. The colored swirls should be gone while the effect icon in your inventory HUD stays visible.
2. If particles still appear, the pack is not actually enabled. Open Options, then Resource Packs, and move it to the Selected side. Packs on the left column do nothing.
3. Check the pack is not being overridden. A pack placed above it in the selected list that also edits the same particle texture will win. Drag this pack to the top of the selected list to force it.
4. On a server, remember the pack only changes what you see. Other players still see your particles unless they also use it.
Things That Stay Visible
Only the potion swirl texture is replaced. Splash potion break effects, lingering cloud particles, beacon beams, and status effect icons are separate and remain unchanged.
