Verify the Glint Effect is Removed from Your Items

Check Your Inventory

Open your inventory and look at any enchanted items you're carrying. Enchanted tools, weapons, armor, and books should no longer display the purple shimmering glow that normally appears on magical gear.

Confirm in Different Lighting

The removal is most noticeable when:

• Viewing items in your hotbar at the bottom of the screen
• Holding an enchanted item in your hand in the world
• Looking at enchanted gear in your inventory while standing in bright sunlight or dark caves

The item's original color and texture should now be completely visible without any animated sparkle effect overlaying it.

Test with Multiple Item Types

Check different enchanted items to confirm the effect works across all types:

• Enchanted books
• Enchanted swords and axes
• Enchanted armor pieces
• Enchanted tools like pickaxes and shovels

All of these should appear without glint. If you still see the purple glow, verify the resource pack is properly loaded in your resource pack settings and appears above any conflicting packs in the list.
