Remapped Mod changes how you craft maps by replacing the compass requirement with an ink sac. This makes maps much cheaper and easier to produce early in your survival world.

Keep in mind that maps created this way won't include player tracking features—they'll only show terrain and block information. If you need player tracking on your maps, you'll need to use the traditional compass-based recipe instead.

This change makes mapping more accessible for players who want to explore and document their world without investing significant resources into compass crafting.
