Remove Items from Loot Chests and Monster Drops

Add Items to Your Ban Configuration

List the items you want to remove from loot in your text configuration file. Use full item identifiers so the mod knows exactly what to filter.

Reload and Generate New Loot

Run /reload in-game. The mod removes the item from loot pools immediately. Any chests or mobs you encounter after reloading won't generate or drop the banned item.

Important: Existing Loot Isn't Affected

Chests and items that were already generated before your reload still contain banned items. Only newly generated loot respects your ban list. If you're testing, explore new chunks or use commands to generate fresh structures.

Dimension-Specific Bans

You can ban an item only in the Nether or End while allowing it in the Overworld. Organize your ban files into dimension-specific folders, and the mod applies the correct rules based on where the loot generates.

Verify the Change

Explore new dungeons, temples, or other structures. Open chests and defeat mobs to confirm the banned item no longer appears in their drops.
