Build an Item Sorting and Launching System

Using the Dripleaf Launcher

The Dripleaf Launcher propels items or mobs in a specific cardinal direction whenever something lands on or steps onto it. Place the launcher on a solid block and configure its direction using redstone or by interacting with it.

Creating a Sorting Pipeline

Position Dripleaf Launchers in a line to create an item transport system. Items dropped onto the first launcher will be shot toward the next station. Use Item Drains at collection points to catch and redirect items into storage. By staggering launchers at different heights or angles, you can sort items into separate streams.

Combining with Redstone

Power launchers with redstone signals to activate them on demand, or leave them unpowered for constant operation. Connect them to Sculk Receivers for wireless triggering, allowing you to launch batches of items remotely.

Advanced Setups

Layer multiple launchers vertically to create multi-floor sorting systems. Use Item Drains to filter specific items into designated chutes, creating an efficient sorting facility that processes your farm output or mining haul automatically.
