Make Your Log Boats Look Realistic

Enable the Required Mod

The Refurbished Log Boat Resource Pack needs either OptiFine or Entity Model Features to display the custom 3D hollowed-log shapes. Without one of these mods installed, your boats will appear as flat wooden boxes instead of realistic tree trunks.

Apply the Resource Pack

Once you have OptiFine or Entity Model Features active, load the Refurbished Log Boat Resource Pack through your resource pack menu. The pack will automatically replace all boat textures and models with hollowed-log versions.

Verify the Changes

Craft or find a boat and place it in the water. You should now see a properly carved-out log instead of the default flat boat model. Hold a boat in your inventory or hand—it will display as a realistic 3D item rather than a flat icon. Different wood types (oak, birch, cherry, etc.) will each have their own unique log appearance and texture, so a birch log boat looks distinctly different from an acacia one.

If boats still look wrong, check that your mod loader is running OptiFine or Entity Model Features before launching the game.
