Display Realistic 3D Boat Items in Your Inventory

Check Your Mod Requirements

The 3D in-hand boat model requires OptiFine or Entity Model Features. Verify that one of these mods is installed and active before launching Minecraft.

Craft or Obtain a Boat

Create a boat using wooden planks, or find one in your world. With the Refurbished Log Boat Resource Pack active, the item will render as a realistic 3D hollowed log instead of a flat 2D picture.

View the Model

Open your inventory and look at the boat item—you'll see a proper three-dimensional carved-out log. Hold the boat in your hand and rotate your view to see the detailed 3D shape from different angles. The model updates for every wood type, so each boat variant displays its own unique carved appearance.

If the boat still appears flat or as a box, double-check that OptiFine or Entity Model Features is running. The resource pack alone cannot create 3D models without one of these mods handling the custom entity rendering.
