Enhance Light Source Glow and Ambiance
Locate Light Source Settings
In the Shader Settings, find the section for light source effects, glow, or emissive lighting. This controls how torches, lanterns, campfires, and other light-emitting blocks appear.
Increase Glow Intensity
Raise the glow or bloom intensity slider to make light sources shine more prominently. This creates a soft halo effect around torches and lanterns, giving them a more magical and atmospheric appearance. Higher values create more noticeable glows but may impact performance.
Adjust Light Spread Distance
Some settings control how far the glow effect spreads from the light source. Increasing this makes torches illuminate their surroundings more dramatically, creating better ambiance in caves and buildings.
Fine-Tune Color Saturation
If available, adjust the color intensity of emissive blocks to make warm light sources (like torches) feel warmer and more inviting. This enhances the fantasy aesthetic Refrax provides.
Combine with Shadow Settings
For best results, pair glow adjustments with shadow settings. Stronger shadows make light source glows stand out more dramatically, creating better contrast and depth in your world.
