Maximize Beacon Effect Range and Power

Understanding Beacon Layers

Beacon power scales with the number of complete pyramid layers. A redstone beacon with all three layers active provides stronger effects over a larger area than a single-layer beacon.

Building for Maximum Effect

1. Construct all three layers of your redstone beacon base to unlock maximum effect potential

2. Ensure each layer is a complete square with no gaps

3. Layer 1 (bottom) should be the largest, each subsequent layer smaller

4. Power the beacon with sufficient redstone dust

Effect Selection

Once your three-layer beacon is active, you can configure which effects are granted. Different effect combinations are available depending on your beacon's setup. Check your beacon's interface to select primary and secondary effects.

Optimization Tips

Place multiple beacons in strategic locations around your base for overlapping effect coverage. Position beacons at different heights to cover vertical spaces like mining shafts or tall buildings. Ensure adequate redstone dust supply to keep all beacons powered simultaneously.
