Verify the Red Glint is Applied to Your Items

Check Your Enchanted Gear

Once installed, the red enchantment glint should appear automatically on all enchanted tools, weapons, and armor. No configuration is needed.

Steps:

1. Craft or obtain an enchanted item (or use an enchanting table to enchant something)

2. Hold the item in your hand or place it in your inventory

3. Look at the item in bright light—you should see a bold red shimmer instead of the default purple glow

4. The effect is most visible on darker-colored gear or in well-lit areas

Troubleshooting Visibility

If you don't see the red glint:

• Make sure the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack menu (pause menu → Options → Resource Packs)
• Check that it's positioned above any conflicting packs in the active list
• Try moving closer to the item or adjusting your graphics settings to ensure particle effects are visible
• Restart your game if you recently added the pack

The glint effect applies to all enchanted items equally—there's no way to disable it for specific items or gear types.
