Disable or Revert to Default Purple Glint

Switching Back to Vanilla Enchantment Colors

If you want to return to Minecraft's default purple enchantment shimmer, simply disable or remove the red glint pack.

Steps:

1. Open your pause menu and go to Options → Resource Packs

2. Find the red glint pack in your active list

3. Click the left arrow to move it to the inactive list

4. Close the menu—your enchanted items will revert to the default purple glow

5. To re-enable it later, move it back to the active list

Permanent Removal

If you no longer want the pack:

1. Navigate to your resource pack folder

2. Delete the red glint pack file entirely

3. Restart your game

You can always reinstall it later if you change your mind. Disabling or removing the pack has no effect on your world, items, or enchantments—it's purely a visual change.
