Troubleshooting: Recipes Not Showing Up

Confirm the Mod Is Loaded

If the recipe book still shows locked or missing recipes, first confirm the mod is actually loaded. Check your mods list in the game's mod menu or the mod loader's interface. If it is not listed, it is not running, and nothing else will help until it is.

Check the Recipe Book Tab

Make sure you are looking at the correct tab. The recipe book separates crafting table recipes from furnace and other station recipes. If you are searching for a smelting recipe while on the crafting tab, it will not appear. Switch tabs and search again.

Client vs Server Recipes

On a server, recipes that only exist server-side (custom datapacks, server mods) will not show because your client does not have them. This is expected behavior, not a bug. Similarly, if a server has removed or disabled a recipe, the mod cannot force it to appear if the client never received it.

Mod Conflicts

Rarely, another mod that overhauls the recipe book or crafting UI can conflict with Recipe Unlocker. If recipes appear broken, garbled, or the book will not open, try temporarily removing other recipe-book-related mods to isolate the conflict. Also ensure all mods are built for the same game version, since mismatched versions can cause the recipe book to fail silently.
