Craft Signs Using One Stick and One Slab

Simplified Sign Recipe

Recipe Reshaper Mod changes the sign crafting recipe to use just one stick and one slab, instead of the vanilla recipe that requires multiple planks and sticks.

To craft a sign:

1. Obtain one stick (craft two planks vertically, or gather from the ground)

2. Obtain one slab of any wood type (craft logs or planks into slabs using the mod's recipes)

3. Open your inventory crafting grid

4. Place the stick and slab in the grid according to the recipe pattern

5. Craft to receive a sign

Material Efficiency

This recipe dramatically reduces the resources needed per sign, making it ideal when you're building structures with many signs or decorative elements. Since you can craft slabs directly from logs with increased output, the entire sign-making pipeline becomes much more efficient.

The sign retains all vanilla functionality—you can still write on it and place it on blocks or hang it from chains. Check your recipe book to confirm the exact placement pattern for the stick and slab.
