Convert Blocks to Stairs and Slabs Efficiently

Using Inventory-Sized Recipes

Recipe Reshaper Mod lets you convert between blocks, stairs, and slabs using recipes that fit in your inventory crafting grid—no need for a full crafting table setup.

To convert blocks to stairs or slabs:

1. Open your inventory crafting grid (2×2 or 3×3, depending on your recipe)

2. Place the block type you want to convert (e.g., stone, wood, or any solid block)

3. Arrange them according to the simplified recipe pattern shown in your recipe book

4. Collect the output—you'll receive stairs or slabs in a single craft

Reverse Conversion

You can also convert stairs and slabs back into blocks using the same grid-based recipes. This is useful when you need to change your build direction or reclaim materials.

The mod automatically handles recipe conflicts, so you won't accidentally trigger overlapping vanilla recipes. Check your recipe book to see the exact layout for each block type you're working with—different materials may have slightly different patterns.
