Troubleshooting Recipe Book Responsiveness

Recipe Clicks Feel Slow

If recipe book clicks seem unresponsive, first verify the mod is installed correctly. Recipe selection should feel instant during normal play. If there's a noticeable delay, check that no other mods are conflicting with recipe book functionality.

Repeated Clicks on Same Recipe

If you click the same recipe multiple times in quick succession, only the first click generates a server packet. Subsequent clicks within the cooldown period are ignored. This is intentional and prevents packet spam.

Server Lag Unrelated to Recipe Book

This mod specifically addresses recipe book packet spam. If your server is lagging for other reasons (mob spawning, chunk loading, redstone), this mod won't resolve those issues. It only optimizes recipe book performance.

Verify Installation

Ensure the mod is present in your mods folder and that your Minecraft version matches the mod's requirements. A properly installed mod should be completely transparent during normal play.
