Installation and First Look

Recastional Shaders works as a shader pack that transforms your world's lighting and colors without changing block textures. Install it through your shader mod loader, then load any world to see the effect immediately.

The mod applies cinematic visual filters and realistic shadow casting to all blocks, trees, and structures. Expect darker shadows beneath overhangs and behind tall buildings. Water surfaces now reflect the sky, sun, and moon dynamically. Caves feel more atmospheric with enhanced torch glow and bright lava pools.

The fantasy color palette affects your sky and biomes while preserving vanilla block appearance. This makes the mod ideal for castle builds and magical towns—your structures gain cinematic depth without looking out of place. Disable it anytime by switching back to vanilla rendering.
