How Recast Mod Works

Semi-Automatic Fishing

Recast Mod changes one specific part of the fishing loop: the recast. You still do everything up to the catch yourself, but the mod handles what happens right after.

When you reel in and catch an item, the mod automatically casts the line back into the water for you. You don't need to right-click again to start the next cast, so you can keep your attention on watching the bobber instead of repeating the same click.

The automation only applies after a successful catch. If you right-click to reel in without having caught anything, the rod behaves normally and simply stops fishing. In that case you'll need to cast again yourself.

Because the mod doesn't hook fish for you, it stays a manual activity overall. It just removes the repetitive recasting step, making long fishing sessions less tedious while you remain in control of when to reel in.
