Manage the Mod in a Modpack

Including the Mod in Custom Modpacks

If you're creating or maintaining a modpack, you can include Realms Button Remover to provide all players with a consistent, cleaner main menu experience. This is particularly useful for server-focused modpacks where Realms is irrelevant.

Installation in Modpacks

Simply add the mod JAR file to the modpack's mods folder. When players download and install the modpack, the mod will load automatically. No additional configuration or documentation is required—the button removal happens silently.

Player Communication

Consider mentioning in your modpack description or changelog that the Realms button has been removed for a cleaner interface. This prevents players from wondering if something is missing or broken.

Removal from Modpacks

If you later decide to remove this mod from your modpack, simply delete the JAR file from the mods folder. Players' existing worlds and settings remain unaffected. The Realms button will reappear on their next launch if they update to the new modpack version.
