Enable Bump Mapping for Enhanced Depth and Realism
Prerequisites
Bump mapping in Realistico creates realistic shadows and surface depth on blocks, making textures appear three-dimensional. This feature requires the Shaders mod to function.
Installation Steps
1. Install a Shaders mod compatible with your Minecraft version if you haven't already.
2. Load Realistico Resource Pack in your resource pack folder as normal.
3. Launch Minecraft and enter a world with Shaders enabled.
4. Open Shader settings (usually by pressing a key like O or through the Video Settings menu, depending on your Shaders mod).
5. Look for bump mapping or normal map options in the shader configuration and enable them.
6. Adjust intensity settings if available to control how pronounced the depth effect appears.
Troubleshooting
If bump mapping doesn't appear:
- Confirm your Shaders mod is active (you should see shader options in Video Settings)
- Check that Realistico is loaded above other resource packs in the pack list
- Some shader implementations may have bump mapping disabled by default—check shader-specific settings
- Ensure your GPU supports the shader features being used
