Enhance Daytime Sunlight and Shadows

Access Lighting Controls

Open the Iris shader menu and navigate to Lighting, Sun, or Daylight settings. These control how bright and warm sunlight appears during the day.

Increase Sunlight Brightness

Find Sunlight Intensity or Direct Light Strength. Raising this value makes daytime brighter and more vibrant, enhancing the warm, natural feel the shader aims for.

Enhance Shadow Depth

Look for Shadow Darkness or Shadow Contrast. Increasing this creates more defined, dramatic shadows that make terrain features stand out. Decrease it for softer, more subtle shadows.

Adjust Color Temperature

Some shaders include Color Temperature or Sunlight Color sliders. Warmer tones (more orange/yellow) enhance the natural daytime feel, while cooler tones create a different mood.

Test at Different Times

Changes are most visible during midday when the sun is highest. Test your adjustments at sunrise, noon, and sunset to ensure the lighting looks good throughout the day cycle.
