Understanding Campfire Duration

Campfires in this mod have a limited lifespan by default. Once lit, they will burn for a set period before extinguishing completely. To maintain your fire for extended periods, you'll need to relight it.

Relighting a Burned-Out Fire

1. Gather fresh logs and flint and steel.

2. Approach your extinguished campfire.

3. Right-click with a log in your main hand to prepare it again.

4. Right-click with flint and steel to reignite.

Planning Ahead

If you're setting up a base or camp, consider building multiple campfires so you always have an active one while others cool down. Keep a supply of logs and flint and steel nearby for quick relighting. This way, you maintain continuous light and heat without long gaps.
