Establish a Sustainable Wood and Food Farm

Choose a Farm Location

Select a flat area on the island's surface away from cliffs and cave entrances. The grassy plains between the forests work well. Make sure the area is well-lit with torches to prevent mob spawns.

Set Up a Tree Farm

Chop down several trees and replant saplings in organized rows. Oak and birch saplings grow naturally on the island. Space them out so they have room to grow tall. A farm of 20-30 trees provides endless wood without depleting the natural forests.

Create a Food Source

Build an animal pen using fences. Breed cows, pigs, or sheep by feeding them their preferred food (wheat, carrots, or seeds). Animals provide meat, leather, and wool. Alternatively, plant wheat in tilled soil and harvest it for seeds and bread.

Automate Harvesting

Arrange your farm in neat rows for easy harvesting. Use a hoe on grass blocks to create farmland, then plant seeds. Water flows from the island's waterfall—dig channels to direct it through your crops.

Maintain Your Farm

Keep the area lit and fenced to prevent mobs from destroying your work. Replant saplings and seeds after each harvest. A well-maintained farm eliminates the need to venture far from your base for resources.
