How to Fix Real Camera Mod Not Changing the View

Confirm the Mod Is Active

If the camera looks unchanged, first verify the mod loaded. Check your mod menu or the loaded mods list — if it is missing, the file is not in the correct mods folder or is incompatible with your game version.

Check for Conflicts

Other camera or first-person mods can override Real Camera Mod. Disable any mod that also modifies the first-person camera, view bobbing, or player rendering, then restart. If the view changes after disabling the other mod, you have found the conflict.

Reset and Reconfigure

1. Close the game.

2. Back up and then delete or rename the mod's config file so it regenerates with defaults.

3. Relaunch and open the config screen to confirm the options appear.

4. Adjust one setting at a time and test in-world.

If It Still Does Nothing

Make sure you are actually in first-person view (the mod targets that perspective). Some settings only show effect while moving, so walk and sprint to test. If options are present but have no visible effect, the mod may be partially incompatible with your current game version — check that your mod build matches your Minecraft version exactly.
