How to Enable and Configure the Realistic Camera in Real Camera Mod
Finding the Camera Settings
Once the mod is installed, the realistic first-person camera is active by default, but you can fine-tune it. Open the mod's config screen from the main menu or through your mod menu (the exact button label depends on your loader). Inside you will find sliders and toggles for camera sway, head bobbing, and view smoothing.
Tuning the Feel
- Head bobbing / sway: Increase this if you want more natural walking motion, decrease it if the motion makes you motion-sick.
- Camera smoothing: Higher values make the camera lag slightly behind your mouse, mimicking a real head turn. Lower values feel snappier.
- Roll / tilt: Some builds let the camera tilt when you strafe. Reduce it if you prefer a flat horizon.
Testing In-Game
Leave the config and walk, sprint, and jump in a safe area. Watch how the camera reacts. If the sway is too strong, return to the config and dial it back. Most players settle on a moderate sway with light smoothing. Changes usually apply immediately, but if they do not, exit to the main menu and reload the world. Keep a backup of your config file before making large changes so you can restore a comfortable setup.
