Prevent Time from Advancing While Your Server is Empty

How Time Pausing Works

Ready Player Fun Mod automatically freezes the in-game day-night cycle whenever all players log out. This means the sun won't move, mobs won't spawn based on time progression, and crops won't grow while nobody is online. The moment any player rejoins, time resumes exactly where it left off.

What Gets Paused

When the server enters "no players online" state, the following pause:

  • Day-night cycle – the sun stops moving
  • Weather changes – rain and storms freeze in place
  • Season progression – if you're using a seasons mod, seasonal transitions halt
  • Time-dependent events – anything triggered by ticks or time advancement

What Stays Active

Note that block updates, redstone, and other server mechanics may continue depending on your server configuration. The mod specifically targets time, weather, and season systems.

No Configuration Needed

This feature works automatically on the server side. Players don't need to install anything or run commands—just having the mod on your server enables this behavior by default.
