Recolor a Single Terracotta Block
Basic Recoloring
Recoloring terracotta is straightforward and works the same way as dyeing vanilla terracotta for the first time.
1. Gather a terracotta block of any color (including undyed white terracotta)
2. Obtain a dye in your desired color
3. Place the terracotta block on a crafting grid
4. Combine it with the dye in a crafting recipe
5. Collect your newly colored terracotta block
Key Difference from Vanilla
Unlike vanilla Minecraft, the mod removes the restriction that prevents re-dyeing. This means you can take an already-colored terracotta block—say, blue terracotta—and dye it again to create green terracotta, red terracotta, or any other color without needing to find or mine new undyed blocks.
This works for all sixteen dye colors. Simply repeat the process as many times as needed to achieve your desired color scheme for your build.
