How to Use the Extreme Anvil and Enhancement Cores

The Extreme Anvil and Enhancement Core are Re Avaritia's gear-upgrade systems. They let you push endgame tools and weapons beyond normal limits.

The Extreme Anvil

The Extreme Anvil works like a vanilla anvil but is designed for the mod's high-tier gear. Use it to repair damaged Crystal and Blaze tools, and to apply certain upgrades that a normal anvil cannot handle. Place it and right-click to open its interface, then put the tool in the left slot and the repair or upgrade material in the right slot.

Enhancement Cores

Enhancement Cores are crafting components used to upgrade gear. They are made at the Extreme Crafting Table from endgame materials. Combine an Enhancement Core with a tool at the appropriate station to add its effect. Check JEI/REI for which tools accept which cores — not every core applies to every item.

Practical Tips

• Repair before tools break; endgame gear is expensive to replace.
• Apply Enhancement Cores to your most-used tool first (usually the pickaxe or sword).
• Keep spare Enhancement Cores in a Compressed Chest near your Extreme Anvil so upgrades are quick.
