Enable Ray-Marched Reflections on Water
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (usually accessed through your loader's settings). Look for the Reflections or Ray Marching category.
Configure Reflection Quality
Locate the reflection toggle and ensure it is enabled. You'll see options for:
- Reflection Distance: Controls how far the shader traces reflections across your screen. Lower values improve performance; higher values show reflections further away.
- Reflection Quality: Adjusts ray-march step count. Higher quality means smoother, more detailed reflections but costs more performance.
- Reflection Intensity: Controls how bright and visible reflections appear on water and smooth surfaces.
Apply and Test
Save your changes and return to your world. Stand near water or polished blocks and look at the surface—you should see the environment reflected realistically. Adjust distance and quality based on your frame rate. If reflections look blocky or sparse, increase the quality setting. If performance drops, reduce reflection distance or quality steps.
