How to Use RAY's 3D Rails Resource Pack

Installing and Applying the Pack

RAY's 3D Rails Resource Pack is a resource pack, not a mod, so it works through Minecraft's built-in resource pack system rather than a mod loader. Place the pack file in your resource packs folder, then enable it from the Resource Packs menu in Options. Because it only changes textures, it should be compatible with most other packs and mods, though another pack that also edits rail textures will conflict with it.

What Changes In-Game

Once enabled, the pack replaces the flat rail textures with 3D-styled ones and gives rails new designs. Both the block textures placed in the world and the item textures in your inventory are affected, so rails look consistent whether you are holding them or looking at a finished track. The result is more detailed, realistic-looking rails with added variety between designs. No crafting recipes, behavior, or mechanics change — only the visuals. This makes it safe to add or remove at any time without affecting existing builds or worlds.
