Build a Raw Iron Block Beacon Pyramid

Gather Raw Iron Blocks

Mine raw iron ore and smelt or use a furnace to obtain raw iron blocks. You'll need multiple stacks depending on pyramid size. Raw iron blocks work identically to iron blocks for beacon base construction.

Construct the Pyramid

Beacons require a three-layered pyramid beneath them:

• Layer 1 (bottom): 3×3 square of raw iron blocks
• Layer 2 (middle): 2×2 square of raw iron blocks, centered on layer 1
• Layer 3 (top): 1×1 single raw iron block

Place your beacon on top of layer 3. The pyramid must be solid—no gaps or missing blocks.

Activate the Beacon

Once the pyramid is complete, the beacon will activate automatically and emit a light beam upward. You can now interact with it to select power effects. Raw iron blocks function exactly like standard mineral blocks for beacon activation and effect range.
