Troubleshoot Wireless Redstone Signal Failures

Check Channel Matching

Right-click both the transmitter and receiver to verify their channel numbers are identical. A mismatch is the most common cause of signal failure. Correct the receiver's channel if needed.

Verify Power and Range

Confirm the transmitter is receiving active redstone power (use a lever to test manually). Measure the distance between transmitter and receiver—if it exceeds 256 blocks (or your server's configured limit), the signal won't reach. Move one block closer if necessary.

Check Chunk Loading

Both the transmitter and receiver must be in loaded chunks to communicate. If your receiver is in an unloaded chunk, load it by traveling there or using chunk loaders if available in your modpack.

Verify Block Placement

Ensure neither block is buried or obstructed in a way that prevents interaction. Right-click from different angles to confirm the menu opens. If a block is broken or replaced, redstone power may not connect properly.

Test with Simple Setup

Place a transmitter and receiver close together (10 blocks apart) on the same channel with a lever on the transmitter. If this works, your issue is likely distance or chunk loading related.
