Build a Multi-Channel Redstone Network

Planning Your Channels

Assign different channel numbers to different transmitter-receiver pairs. For example, use channel 1 for your furnace automation, channel 2 for your door lock, and channel 3 for your farm harvester. This lets you control multiple machines independently from a single control room.

Creating a Control Hub

Place multiple transmitters in one location, each on a different channel. Connect each transmitter to a separate lever or button. This creates a central control panel where you can toggle different systems across your base without running physical redstone lines.

Scaling Across Distance

Place receivers at distant locations—in other bases, mining operations, or farms—all tuned to your hub's channels. Signals travel up to 256 blocks by default, allowing you to manage distant machinery from home.

Channel Organization Tips

Document your channel assignments in a sign or notebook. Use consistent numbering: channels 1–10 for production, 11–20 for security, 21–30 for doors. This prevents confusion when expanding your network later.
