How to Use Bucket Truck Boom Controls

Entering the Bucket

Climb into a bucket truck just like you would any vehicle seat. Once seated in the basket, you'll have access to boom controls from that position.

Operating the Boom

Use W to raise the lower boom section upward. Press S to lower it back down. Rotate the boom horizontally using A to turn left and D to turn right. These controls allow you to position the basket to reach high spots, perform maintenance, or access elevated areas up to 23 blocks high.

Safety and Positioning

Always ensure the truck is on stable, level ground before extending the boom. Move slowly and deliberately to avoid sudden shifts that could destabilize the basket. Be aware of your surroundings—trees, buildings, and other obstacles can interfere with boom movement. Lower the boom completely before driving the truck to a new location. Never operate the boom while the truck is moving.
