Make Your Custom Trees Look Bushier with Rainbow's Foliage

Applying the Pack to Custom Trees

Rainbow's Foliage Polytone works by rotating leaf blocks using PolyTone's rotation system to create a fuller appearance. If you're using mods that add custom trees—like Biomes O' Plenty, Regions Unexplored, or Dynamic Trees—the pack automatically applies bushy leaf textures to those custom leaf types.

Checking Compatibility

Make sure your custom tree mod is loaded *before* Rainbow's Foliage in your mod list. The pack scans for leaf block names it recognizes. If your custom leaves don't look bushy:

  • Verify PolyTone is installed and active
  • Check that your tree mod's leaf blocks exist in the world (grow a new tree or find one naturally)
  • Ensure no conflicting texture packs are overriding the leaf textures

Stacking Additional Packs

You can layer other resource packs on top of Rainbow's Foliage. If another pack uses the same bushy leaf block names, place Rainbow's Foliage *below* it in your resource pack order. This lets you customize specific leaves while keeping the bushy effect on others.
