Recover Your Items After Dying with the Gravestone System

How Gravestones Work

When your character dies, Ragdollified Mod's built-in gravestone system automatically creates a gravestone at your death location. This protects your inventory items from being lost or despawning.

Retrieving Your Items

Return to your death location and look for a gravestone block. Interact with it (right-click) to open its inventory. Your items will be stored inside, safe from the environment.

Transfer items back to your inventory as needed. Once you've collected everything, you can break the gravestone or leave it as a marker.

Tips for Item Recovery

• Mark your death location mentally or with a waypoint if you're far from home
• Multiple deaths in the same area will create multiple gravestones
• The gravestone persists until you manually remove it, giving you time to return
• If you die again before retrieving items, a new gravestone appears at the new location

This system ensures you don't lose progress from unexpected deaths, especially useful in challenging combat situations.
