Ragdollified Mod allows defeated mobs and players to remain on the ground as physics-based bodies. Without management, these can accumulate and cause performance drops, especially in areas with frequent combat.

Configuring Body Limits

Access your mod configuration settings (typically through a config file or in-game menu depending on your setup). Look for options related to maximum ragdoll count or body despawn settings.

Set a reasonable limit for how many bodies can exist simultaneously in your world. Lower values improve performance but mean bodies disappear faster. Higher values preserve more bodies but demand more resources.

Managing Bodies in Practice

If you're farming mobs or fighting in one location repeatedly, consider:

• Moving to a different area periodically to let old bodies despawn naturally
• Using the gravestone system to collect drops before bodies pile up
• Adjusting your limit based on your computer's performance—test different values to find your sweet spot

Monitor your frame rate during heavy combat. If it drops noticeably, lower your body limit further.
