Troubleshooting Ores That Don't Glow

Common Visibility Issues

If ores aren't glowing as expected, a few settings or conflicts may be preventing the emissive textures from displaying properly.

Diagnostic Steps

1. Verify the pack is active. Check your resource packs menu and confirm Radiant Ores is enabled and positioned above conflicting packs.

2. Check graphics settings. Emissive textures require adequate graphics quality. Ensure you're not using Fabulous graphics mode with conflicting settings, or switch to Fast/Fancy mode.

3. Test in different lighting. Enter a completely dark cave or use /time set night. Emissive textures show best in darkness.

4. Disable conflicting packs. If you're using multiple resource packs, temporarily disable others to isolate conflicts.

5. Restart your game. Resource packs sometimes need a full reload to apply correctly.

Nether Ores

Nether ore variants (ancient debris, nether gold, etc.) should also glow. If they don't, ensure your pack version supports your Minecraft version and that you're looking at the correct ore type in the right dimension.
