How the Glow Works

Radiant Ores makes valuable ore blocks emit light, cutting through cave darkness so you can spot them instantly. Diamond, gold, iron, redstone, copper, and their nether variants all glow with distinct colors—making it impossible to miss valuable deposits while exploring.

Finding Ores Efficiently

1. Explore caves at any depth. The emissive textures work in complete darkness, so you don't need torches to see ore locations.

2. Look for colored glows matching the ore type you want. Each ore has a unique luminous color that stands out against stone.

3. Mine strategically. Since ores are now highly visible, you can plan your mining routes more efficiently and avoid wasting time on stone.

4. Use in branch mining. When creating mining tunnels, the glowing ores make it easy to spot resources you might otherwise overlook.

Performance Tip

If you're on lower-end hardware, the emissive effects are still lightweight. The resource pack uses efficient texture methods, so visibility gains won't tank your frame rate.
