Customizing Ore Visibility for Your Setup
Adjusting Brightness and Contrast
Radiant Ores' glow intensity works within Minecraft's standard resource pack system. If the ores feel too bright or too dim for your preference, you can fine-tune visibility through your game settings.
Steps to Optimize
1. Open Video Settings and adjust Brightness to your preference. Higher brightness makes glows more prominent; lower settings make them subtler.
2. Tweak Gamma if available in your launcher. This affects how emissive textures appear overall.
3. Check Texture Details in your graphics options—ensure they're set to maximum for full emissive effect.
4. Test in a dark cave. Mine a small area and observe ore visibility. Adjust settings until ores pop without causing eye strain.
Combining with Other Packs
Radiant Ores works alongside most resource packs. If you're using a custom pack, ensure Radiant Ores loads after it in your resource pack list so the ore textures take priority. Some packs may conflict with connected textures or custom ore models—test compatibility before committing to a long mining session.
