Getting Started with Ray Tracing
Enabling Ray Tracing
Radiance Windows Mod replaces Minecraft's standard graphics renderer with Vulkan, a modern graphics API that supports hardware ray tracing. Once installed, the mod automatically enables real-time ray tracing for your world.
To use this mod, you need:
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
- A graphics card with Vulkan ray tracing support (NVIDIA RTX series, or compatible AMD/Intel cards)
The mod also integrates with upscaling technologies like DLSS, FSR3, and XeSS. These tools let you render at lower resolutions and upscale the image, maintaining visual quality while improving frame rates. Check your graphics card settings to enable upscaling if your card supports it.
