Choosing the Right Rack

Every wood type in Storage Racks comes in two shapes and seven trim styles, so picking the right block is mostly about where it goes and how it looks.

Use a Rack when you want a straight run of storage along a flat wall. Use a Corner when a wall turns, so the storage follows the room instead of leaving a gap. Corners are also handy for framing doorways or building compact storage nooks.

The trim decides the block's appearance and material theme. Stone and Wood trims give a plain, rustic look, while Iron and Gold sit in the middle, and Diamond, Emerald, and Netherite read as higher-tier decorative options. The trim is a visual and material choice rather than a separate storage mechanic, so you can freely mix trims across a build without changing how the racks work.

Because both shapes exist for every wood and trim combination, you can build a consistent storage wall and still have a matching piece for every corner.
