How to Sleep in a Bed Without Placing It (Quick Right-Click Mod)

The Basic Interaction

Hold a bed in your main hand and look up at the sky or at empty air so that no block is targeted by your crosshair. Right-click. The mod places the bed down for you and immediately starts the sleeping process, so you skip the step of manually positioning and placing it. This works at night or during a thunderstorm, when vanilla sleeping is normally allowed.

What Happens After You Wake

When morning arrives and you get out of the bed, the mod automatically picks the bed back up and returns it to your inventory. You do not need to break it yourself, and you do not lose the bed. This makes it safe to carry a single bed while travelling, mining, or exploring, because you never leave it behind.

Things to Watch Out For

• Make sure you are actually aiming at air. If your crosshair is on a block, the game treats it as a normal placement and the quick-sleep behaviour will not trigger.
• You still need a valid, safe spot for the bed to land. If the space is blocked or the ground is unsuitable, the placement can fail.
• Other players nearby can still prevent you from sleeping if the server requires everyone to rest, so this is a convenience feature, not a way around multiplayer sleep rules.
