How to Complete Quest Tasks and Claim Rewards

Understanding Quest Structure

Every questline is a chain of individual quests. Each quest is built from one or more quest tasks, and completing all tasks in a quest unlocks its rewards. Tasks can vary widely depending on how the modpack author designed them, so always read the task description carefully before you start gathering or killing anything.

Working Through a Quest

1. Accept the quest from the Quest Giver Villager.

2. Open your quest view to see the list of tasks for that quest.

3. Complete each task one at a time. Some tasks track automatically as you collect items or defeat mobs, while others may require you to return to a specific location or villager.

4. Once every task shows as complete, go back to the villager who gave you the quest.

5. Hand in the quest to receive the reward or rewards attached to it.

Rewards and Progression

Rewards are defined per quest by the datapack, so they can be items, experience, or other benefits the pack author chose. Finishing a quest typically advances you along that profession's questline, unlocking the next quest in the chain. If a quest seems stuck, double-check that every task is fully satisfied, since a single incomplete task blocks the hand-in.
