How to Make Lowercase Letters Show as Small Capitals in Chat and Signs

Understanding What the Pack Changes

Qrafty's Capitalized Font Resource Pack does not add a new font — it replaces the glyphs Minecraft uses for lowercase letters with smaller versions of the uppercase glyphs. This means you do not need to type anything differently. Any lowercase letter you type in chat, on a sign, in a book, or in an anvil name field will automatically render as a small capital. Uppercase letters stay full-size, so mixing cases still produces a visible size difference.

Steps to Confirm It Is Working

1. Open a singleplayer world or join a server with the pack enabled.

2. Press T to open chat and type a short message using only lowercase letters, for example hello there.

3. Send it and look at the chat line — every letter should appear as a small capital rather than a true lowercase shape.

4. Place a sign and write the same text. The sign preview and the placed sign should both show small capitals.

5. Open your inventory and check the item names — they should also use the small-capital style.

If Nothing Changes

Make sure the resource pack is actually selected in Options > Resource Packs and sits above any other font-altering pack in the list, since only the topmost pack's font files are used. If another font pack is above it, move Qrafty's pack to the top and reload with F3 + T.
