Combine Outlines with Other Visual Mods

Verify Shader Compatibility

Before adding other visual mods, confirm they don't conflict with shader rendering. Mods that modify block textures, entity rendering, or lighting systems may interfere with outline generation. Check mod documentation and community forums for known compatibility issues.

Layer Texture Packs Carefully

Custom texture packs work well with outline shaders, but very detailed or high-resolution textures can make outlines harder to see. Test your texture pack with the shader enabled. If outlines become lost in visual noise, consider using simpler textures or adjusting outline thickness upward.

Test with Entity Mods

Mods that add new mobs or change entity models may render outlines inconsistently. Load a test world with both the shader and entity mod active, then spawn the new creatures to verify outlines appear correctly.

Avoid Conflicting Shaders

Do not run multiple shader packs simultaneously. Disable other shaders before enabling PwC Outline Shaders to prevent rendering errors or performance crashes.

Document Your Setup

Keep notes on which mods and texture packs work well together with this shader. This helps you troubleshoot if visual issues arise later.
