Optimize Axe Swing Response Time

Why Axe Speed Matters

Axes have a slower attack speed than swords by default in Minecraft, but the PVP Optimizer Mod can reduce the perceived delay in your swing animations and hit registration. This makes axes feel more responsive in PvP situations.

Configuring Axe Attack Settings

1. Access the mod's configuration menu from your in-game settings

2. Find the section dedicated to axe or heavy weapon attacks

3. Adjust the attack delay reduction slider or value

4. Test the changes by swinging your axe at mobs—you should notice faster visual feedback

5. If the response feels too aggressive, dial back the setting incrementally

Testing and Adjustment

Engage in combat with mobs to see how the new settings feel. Axes are useful for both damage and knockback, so ensure your optimization doesn't make it harder to control your swings. If you switch between sword and axe combat, you may want to find settings that work well for both, or create separate profiles if the mod supports them.
