The Bordered Ores feature adds bright outlines around valuable ore blocks, making them stand out instantly in low-light mining conditions. This is especially useful when exploring deep caves where ores blend into stone.

What You'll See

When you look at ore blocks like diamond, emerald, gold, and other valuable resources, they now display a glowing border around their edges. The outline is bright enough to catch your eye even in complete darkness, without requiring you to use a brightness modifier.

Mining Strategy

Use this feature to your advantage by:

• Scanning walls methodically as you move through caves—the bright outlines will pop out immediately
• Mining at night or in deep caves where the contrast is strongest
• Combining with your existing texture pack since this overlay works on top of any textures you already use

The bordered ores don't change the actual block behavior or drop rates—they're purely visual. You mine and collect them normally. This makes ore hunting significantly faster, especially when you're in a hurry or exploring unfamiliar cave systems.
