Set Up a Safe Microphone Configuration
Disable Voice Chat Temporarily
The simplest way to prevent accidental triggers is to disable proximity voice chat before exploring:
1. Open your game settings
2. Locate the voice chat or audio input options
3. Disable or mute your microphone input for Minecraft
4. Confirm the setting is saved before entering an Ancient City
Adjust Microphone Sensitivity
If you want to keep voice chat enabled for communication:
1. Check your voice chat settings for sensitivity or threshold adjustments
2. Lower the microphone sensitivity if the option exists
3. Test in a safe area to ensure the Warden doesn't react to normal conversation levels
4. Increase sensitivity only if needed for legitimate communication
Use Push-to-Talk
Some voice chat systems support push-to-talk mode. Enable this feature so your microphone only transmits when you actively hold a key. This gives you full control over when audio is sent and prevents passive detection during silent exploration.
