Troubleshoot Visual Glitches and Artifacts

Identify Common Issues

Flickering or strobing: Often caused by antialiasing or bloom conflicts. Try lowering antialiasing strength or disabling bloom temporarily.

Banding or color bands: Reduce bloom intensity or disable it. This is a known artifact when glow effects are too strong.

Blurry or overly soft visuals: You may have camera focus enabled everywhere. Check if depth-of-field blur is set too high globally, or disable it and re-enable only when needed.

Performance drops in specific biomes: Some biomes with dense foliage or water stress the shader. Lower cloud quality or shadow resolution in settings.

Reset and Reconfigure

If glitches persist, reset shader settings to default, then gradually increase quality features one at a time. This helps isolate which setting causes the problem.

Check Compatibility

Ensure your graphics driver is up to date. PureCraft Shaders works best on systems with at least basic shader support. If you're using very old hardware, disable advanced features like dynamic shadows entirely.

If issues continue, try disabling other visual mods or resource packs that might conflict with the shader's rendering pipeline.
