Capture Better Screenshots with PureCraft Shaders
Choose the Right Time and Place
PureCraft Shaders excels at specific lighting conditions. Take screenshots during:
- Sunrise and sunset: The warm, golden lighting is most dramatic and beautiful
- Midday in open areas: Clouds and sky effects are most visible
- Near light sources at night: Lava, torches, and glowstone show off bloom and glow effects
- In villages or near structures: The shader's lighting enhancement makes architecture stand out
Position Your Camera Carefully
Use the camera focus feature to your advantage. Look closely at an interesting detail—a flower, a villager's face, or a crafting table—and let the background blur naturally. This creates depth and draws attention to your subject.
Adjust Shader Settings Before Shooting
Temporarily increase bloom intensity or lighting brightness if you want more dramatic shots. Disable HUD elements (F1) for clean images. Take multiple shots from different angles and times of day.
Best Subjects
PureCraft Shaders makes these look exceptional: villages at golden hour, water with reflections, forests with dappled light, and nighttime scenes with moon glow. Avoid heavily shadowed caves unless you want a moody aesthetic.
